T.J. LEGG
ATTORNEY
Thomas J. Legg, also known as TJ, has been practicing law in New Jersey for over 14 years. Since the beginning of his practice, Mr. Legg has been employed in various legal aspects with concentrations in litigation and transactional work. TJ strives to treat all his clients with respect and thoughtfulness. In North Bergen, Union City, and Guttenberg, TJ is the chief municipal prosecutor and as such does not represent clients in any criminal defense matters in Hudson County.
Mr. Legg graduated from the University of Hartford where he earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees, in Political Science and Psychology before moving to San Diego, California where he earned a Juris Doctorate degree. Graduating a semester early, in December of 2005, TJ then took the New Jersey bar exam and began practicing in September of 2006. Promptly, Mr. Legg began working for a small firm in West New York, and later ventured off on his own, being at first a partner in his previous firm and now a solo practitioner in Fairview, New Jersey.
Outside of his professional life, TJ enjoys giving back to the community and staying involved in various philanthropic groups. He is an Alumnus and a Trustee of Paramus Catholic High School, and has actively been a role-model through the Big Brother and Sister Program for over 10 years. An important factor to Mr. Legg’s professional and personal life involves a regular engagement in philanthropic organizations.
TJ is a family-oriented man who believes that everyday comes with a new challenge that he is more than ready to conquer. Mr. Legg really enjoys being a lawyer, especially on the days when he gets to help someone and better their lives as this is the reason he became a lawyer.
